This event is hosted by American University’s College of Arts and Sciences and School of International Service.

American University's new professor of history and international relations, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, will present his vision for the much-anticipated Antiracist Research and Policy Center. Following a short presentation, Dr. Kendi will facilitate an extended discussion about the Center, answering questions and receiving feedback and ideas. Members of the AU and Washington, DC communities who would like to learn about the Center or participate in Center activities in preparation for its formal launch in 2018 are encouraged to attend.

This event is a first-come, first-seated event, even for ticket-holding students. Please arrive early, as seats will be given to walk-in guests 5-10 minutes before the event begins. Additional overflow space will be avialble outside of teh Founders Room on the steps with live audio of the event.
