Through learning the traditional darning stitch and simple Sashiko stitching combined with Boro patchwork, participants will learn the basics of repairing their own pair of ripped/torn jeans. Participants will get to touch upon the basics of the ancient Japanese art of Sashiko, a textile mending and reinforcement technique using geometric pattern hand stitching.

Participants are suggested to bring along a pair of jeans with tears and/or holes. All other tools included.
