Join an expert NYRR strength instructor for an invigorating at-home strength class tailored specifically to meet the needs of runners.

About this event

Experience the NYRR RUNCENTER at home! Led by expert strength instructor Jen Ares-Cruz, this class will transform your living room, rooftop, or backyard into a lively home fitness studio. Register for the class time of your choice, and you will receive an email with your personal access link to join the class on Zoom.

Whether you’re new to running, training for a race, or rehabbing an injury, strength training can be a great complement to your training program. Appropriate for all levels, this class is designed to build strength and activate your stabilizing muscles to improve running mechanics and keep you injury free.

Participants should be barefoot or in socks for this class, and should have a yoga mat or other soft surface for floor exercises. You will also need a bath towel and a chair or couch for certain exercises.

The class will begin promptly on the hour. Please plan to join a couple minutes early to ensure you have time to get connected and set up.

Please note that you will need to log in to your Eventbrite account to access the webinar link, and a Zoom account is required to join class.
