Please join us every other month to discuss & explore the intersectionality of social justice.

About this event

We invite you to participate in Austin Public Library's Social Justice Book Club! This month, we are reading Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Front Lines edited by Alexis Paulina Gumbs. This title is available for free as a physical checkout and as a downloadable audiobook with your Austin Public Library Card. Please join us as we discuss this movement shifting anthology inspired by the legacy of radical and queer black feminists of the 1970s and ’80s. Revolutionary Mothering places marginalized mothers of color at the center of a world of necessary transformation committed to birthing new worlds, full of faith and hope for what we can raise up together!

Register on Eventbrite to attend. Using your registration info, your book club moderator will email you an invitation to this virtual event.
