Virtual Paint Nite - hosted by Raych.B

Hi friends!

I hope you all are staying safe & healthy! I hope to contribute to your creative side & doing our part of shelter-in-place, by hosting a virtual paint night! My first paint night was a sucess! Therefore, why not try again and keep it going while we are in quaratine?

Recommended Supplies -

• Canvas or thick paper board that will take Acrylic paint. Or regular paper if you want. I will be using 9x24 acrylic paper. (im honestly taping 2- 9x12's together though..)

• Acrylic paints (heavy body acrylic is preferred) for this version:

1. Black
2. White
3. Green (we will be making different shades of green with the mixture of black and white or please feel free to use different types of greens that you may already have! or you can mix the green with types of blues or yellows you may also have.)
4. 1 other color you prefer for your Cactus Pot (you can use mutliple colors if you like)
5. 1 other color you prefer for your background ( I will be using a pastel pink )

• Paint brushes (preferably 1 flat large or medium & 1 small pointed brush for details).

• Paint palette - a paper plate, recycled cardboard or plastic will do

• Cup of water, something you can wash easily or dispose of.

Optionial items:

• Apron or old shirt.

• Hair dryer may come in handy during drying times.

• Paint tape. (not necessary, but I will be using paint tape to mask off edges of my paper and will help steady my paper. It will also provide a clean border afterwards.)

• Grab a snack, pour a drink(21+ of course) and hop on to our live video via ZOOM (zoom info below)

Please note! If you don't have the supplies in your home:

• Some essential stores may have them (Such as Walmart/Target).
• Maybe try to support small local businesses?
• Michaels has online & curbside pick up. It may take 2 days to be available but double check with your nearby Michaels store.
• Make due with you have otherwise, perhaps call before you head out to pick things up and please be aware of stores that have temporarily closed in your area.
• Please DM Raych on Instagram - raychpaynts if you live in the local sacramento area. I am happy to do a doorstep drop off for any missing item you may still need and if i may have extra of.
