About this Event
VIRTUAL 1-Day Workshop
Saturday, March 6, 2021 – 9:30am-4:30pm
Description: Some jewelry pieces LOOK complicated but are made of simple parts that join together easily. Donna will show how to make tiny flowers, vines, leaves, hearts, moons, and more, in pure silver metal clay; teach best practices for setting cubic zirconia gems before firing; and demystify how to design and layer a scrumptious, treasure-encrusted, bejeweled silver crescent moon pendant. Best of all, most of the tools needed will be everyday items students probably already own.
There will be a quick Zoom session about a week before the workshop, during which you can ask Donna any questions you may have.
Students will visit Contemporary Craft for the following: to pick up tools & materials Donna is providing, to deliver finished pieces and return tool kits, and then to pick up beautiful fired pieces!
Tuition: $85 + $60 materials fee
