About this event
We will be screening 2 short films produced under Melanin Behind The Lens Studios and The Bleak Empire filmed in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas.
“Never The Same” is a dramatic story that is inspired by true events. 5 daughters and sons lose their loved ones at an early age due to senseless killings and becomes exact what the judicial system needs in order to bring down a murderer.
“Stolen Beauty” is a psychological thriller about Cassie, a white women who is obsessed with black women and it’s culture, kidnaps her co workers, Aluxor and Makayla and holds them hostage as her collectible dolls.
Join us as we honor the hard work of the crew and cast of both films.
