Facilitators for the course include a trained young adult leader as well as Formed Families Forward staff, for whom background checks have been completed and approved by Fairfax County. All facilitators have received LifeSkills Training facilitators' training, and are skilled in adapting and modifying content and activities for youth who may have exceptional needs. Learn more about the LifeSkills Training curriculum at https://www.formedfamiliesforward.org/services/middle-school-youth-social-skills/.

For this VIRTUAL offering, we will hold four 60-minute sessions through GoToMeeting on Thursdays, 3:00 - 4:00 PM, May 21 and 28 and June 4 and 11, 2020. The class is limited to 10 teen registrations. Parents/caregivers do not have to participate in the virtual sessions. Note that appropriate online behavior is expected of every participant.

Program materials and instructions to log in for all sessions will be emailed to participants prior to the start of the first session. Middle school participants who attend all sessions will receive a gift card and certificate of completion approximately two weeks after the last session. Thanks to support from Fairfax County’s Partners in Prevention Program, this class is offered FREE of charge to middle school students.
