June 6 at 12pm: Broccoli with Taylor
Ingredient/Supplies for Poppyseed Broccoli Salad:
- 3 medium heads broccoli, trimmed
- 1 apple, diced
- 5 slices turkey bacon
- ¼ cup red onion, chopped
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 ½ tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Supplies: large bowl, measuring cup/spoons, skillet, cutting board
June 13 at 12pm: Strawberries with Shanna
Ingredients/Supplies for Classic Strawberry Shortcake with Shanna:
- 2 pints strawberries
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 4 cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 ¼ cups butter
- 3 cups whipping cream
- ¼ vanilla
- Supplies: Oven at 450 degrees, mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons, baking sheet, parchment paper, biscuit cutter, rolling pin
June 20 at 12pm: Spinach with Kilene
Ingredients/Supplies for Spinach Berry Spring Rolls:
- 3 cups spinach
- 1 cup berries of choice
- 1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/3 cup pecans, chopped or nut of choice
- 8 spring roll wrappers
- Balsamic glaze
- Supplies: bowl with warm water, cutting board, measuring utensils, knife
June 27 at 12pm: Cucumbers with Kilene
Ingredients/Supplies for Farro Salad with Cherries, Cucumbers & Mint:
- 1 cup Nature's Promise® Organic Italian Pearled Farro, cooked according to package directions
- 1/2 cup Nature's Promise® Organic White Balsamic Vinaigrette
- 1/2 cup mint leaves, minced
- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 cucumber, finely chopped
- 1, 4 oz. package goat cheese or feta, crumbled
