Virtual Civic Saturday
Event Information
About this Event
Civic Saturday is a civic ritual — a place to come together in civic community, be inspired and encouraged to reflect and connect, and create new civic traditions that are joyful and communal.
What happens at Virtual Civic Saturday? We'll gather together on Zoom to hear poetry, readings of civic texts, sing together, share thoughts and ideas, and hear a "civic sermon" from Eric Liu. We’ll also break into Civic Circles, where we’ll talk in small groups as friends and strangers from across the country.
Civic Saturday will start at 11:00 AM Pacific Time on Zoom–it’s free and open to all. RSVPs required to receive Zoom link. Please email taneum@citizenuniversity.us if you have any questions.

As we enter a new year, let’s gather together and recommit ourselves to our responsibilities and civic faith.
*This Civic Saturday has moved from YouTube to Zoom! On the morning of Civic Saturday participants should log on with the Zoom link, it will no longer take place on YouTube Live.
