This Certified Assisted Living Manager License RENEWAL (C.A.L.M.) 12-hour course covers the State of Texas' requirements for a Renewing Assisted Living Manager Certification, as well as reviewing the skills you need to continue to succeed and thrive in this profession!

Lin O’Neill, MBA, C.A.L.M., CMCDP, CDP and CADDCT will be the Instructor for this weekend class.

Registration and networking. BYOB (breakfast) 7:30 AM

Class starts promptly at 8:00 AM. Arrivals after 8 AM may be denied class participation.

Have your lunch ready, because we'll have a working lunch so we can finish at 8:00 PM.

The day before the first day of class, each Class Member will receive an electronic copy of the materials that will be covered in class and the link for our Zoom classroom.

This training meets the requirements for Texas Department of (HHSC), Chapter 553, Licensing Standards for Assisted Living Facilities, §553.41(a)(1)(B), 24 hours of training for new managers.

About the organizer

Lin O’Neill has held Assisted Living Manager/Administrator Licenses in California and Texas since 2003. She also holds an Activity Director’s License in California. Her initial career was in the social work arena and her love of Seniors prompted her to work in this field.

Lin also has significant small business management training experience. 

She serves as Lead Faculty, DFW and National Programs for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, empowering entrepreneurs to create jobs and economic opportunity. She is contracted by Interise to deliver the StreetWise Steps™ curriculum for the Small Business Administration in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She instructs small business owners on strategy, finance, sales and marketing, and human resources. Lin worked with the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to deliver Kauffman organization’s established ScaleUp curriculum while coaching entrepreneurial participants regarding business planning and assisting with their introduction to entrepreneurial resources. Lin has taught Principles of Management and Business Leadership in Texas Woman’s University’s EMBA program, and taught Entrepreneurship online.

Her real-world experience, compassion, and humor will combine to make this the most valuable training you’ve ever taken.
