Book Discussion: Dianne Moran- The Assassin’s Accomplice: Mary Surratt and the Plot to Kill Abraham Lincoln by Kate Clifford Larson

About this event

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, February 17th at 7:00 p.m. EST. when Chautauqua scholar Dianne Moran will be leading a discussion on The Assassin’s Accomplice: Mary Surratt and the Plot to Kill Abraham Lincoln by Kate Clifford Larson. The book discussion centered on historical character Mary Surratt. Surratt was implicated in the plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln, but denied being involved. Moran has been an Ashland Chautauqua favorite, portraying characters such as author Rachel Carson and Miep Gies, who protected Anne Franks’ family from the Nazis occupying Amsterdam during World War II.

Join in whether or not you are able to read the book in advance.

Pre-registration is required for this event.
