Event description
High Plains Journal, along with Alforex Seeds and John Deere, will offer Alfalfa U 2021 virtually, across 4 separate dates.

About this Event

Each session will have general topics pertaining to three different alfalfa production regions. Please note that all times are listed as Central Time.

When registering, you only need to select one of the dates below. You will still receive 4 separate links so that you may tune in to any/all of the sessions.

—Colorado Region

February 16, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. CT

—Kansas Region

February 18, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CT

—Washington Region

March 4, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. CT

Because all of the education will be available online, alfalfa growers can now learn from speakers outside of their immediate region. Each day will feature four different speakers covering topics such as: soil potassium deficiencies; limited irrigation strategies; fall army cutworm and alfalfa weevil control; budgeting for alfalfa steamers; and more. The nation’s alfalfa experts will also be available for a live Q&A with the audience.

—Farmer Panel

March 11, 10 a.m.-11:50 am. CT

Farmers representing all three regions will share their knowledge and expertise in raising quality alfalfa for their particular market. Also featured will be a segment with valuable information from our sponsors, Alforex Seeds and John Deere.

Registrants will receive:

  • Links for each live webinar.
  • Exclusive access to session recordings post-event.
  • An 8-week trial subscription to High Plains Journal (applicable for non-subscribers only).

Alfalfa U is sponsored by High Plains Journal, Alforex Seeds and John Deere.
