About this event

"What does “feminism” mean today? That is the question at the heart of We Should All Be Feminists, an eloquently argued essay by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the award-winning author of a past book club selection Americanah. We Should All Be Feminists was adapted from her much-viewed TEDx talk of the same name. We encourage you to watch her other TEDx talk "The Danger of a Single Story" to discuss.

Join us as we commemorate the observance and celebration of Women's History Month and debate why we should all be feminists.

Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email prior to the event. We ask that participants register by 12:00 p.m. the day of the event.

If you are able, we encourage you to consider purchasing this book from a local independent bookstore offering shipping or curbside pickup.

Please note that space is limited for this digital event. If you have questions, feel free to email us at uvanyc@uvanyc.org.

This event is #open to all alumni, parents, and friends. #BookClub
