About this event

If you have any questions please contact John Rison (804-775-5641) or Kempis Brown (804-239-8253).

8:30AM Shotgun Start

The box lunch will be delivered to the golfers around noon.

Award winners will be shared shortly after the conclusion of the round.

Recognizing the financial impact COVID-19 has had on many companies, we will not solicit hole sponsors this year. Instead, we will accept monetary donations in any amount of your choosing to support the 2021 student scholarship fund for talented high school seniors interested in pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Another impact of COVID-19 has been our communities. In the spirit of giving back and offering assistance to those in need, we are asking all golfers to bring nonperishable food item(s) to the tournament. All food items will be donated to a local food bank.

If you wish to send a check for your green fees or make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to AABE-VA Chapter. Payment for golfers should be made no later than July 26, 2021. Donations can be made through August 31, 2021.

More details follow: http://www.aabe.org.

Our Chapter

The Virginia Chapter of AABE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Richmond, VA. Established in 2011, our chapter is currently comprised of approximately seventy (70) members ranging from student interns to entrepreneurs to executives in companies such as Dominion Energy and NiSource (Columbia Gas).

Mission
Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn and grow within the energy industry through forming professional and leadership development opportunities, networking events, student outreach program promoting STEM education, fundraisers, and community involvement activities.

We welcome professionals from all energy and energy-related disciplines (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewable, government, technology, energy services, and water) to join our chapter regardless of race, gender, and/or ethnicity. We believe that each of these disciplines provide our membership and community with a broader perspective and greater understanding of the energy industry as a whole. Additionally, we encourage college students pursuing a degree and/or career within the energy industry to participate as well, thus positioning ourselves to positively impact the pipeline of those wishing to enter the industry.
