Event description
Join us on October 20th to hear local musicians express why they are “Moved by Music”

About this Event

Violins of Hope is a testament to the power of music during the most horrific of circumstances, the Holocaust. The violins provided a voice of hope. Music is that universal language of expression that can give hope, offer a voice, bring joy, perhaps solace….music is deeply personal to everyone.

The Louisville Orchestra’s Teddy Abrams will open the event with a few inspirational words, then play the instrument of his choice. Other performers include:

  • Lost Tribe
  • Louisville Folk School
  • Maestro J and KCD Chamber Ensemble
  • Classical Revolution
  • Jecorey Arthur and Miles Howerton
  • Keith Cook and Student Violinists

The performances will culminate with a special jam session with all of the musicians. We invite you to join us for this unique experience! This event is free and open to the public, simply register above.
