World-renowned violinist, Shlomo Mintz, returns to Los Angeles to work and perform with the Vicente Chamber Orchestra. This unique performance on Sunday, May 7, at Colburn School's Zipper Hall, will be a musical journey with one of today's greatest musicians; listen as Maestro Mintz rehearses and conducts the Vicente Chamber Orchestra in Mozart's Violin Concerto number 5, the "Turkish." Learn how he works with musicians and interprets one of the most celebrated violin concertos in the repertoire. After intermission, Maestro Mintz will conduct and perform Mozart Violin Concerto number 5 with the Vicente Chamber Orchestra.

About the organizer

We are proud to offer world-class performances to our audiences in Los Angeles as we pursue our mission to be the finest chamber orchestra in the United States consisting mostly of non-professional musicians. 

Formed in 2016, the Vicente Chamber Orchestra has grown from a few volunteer musicians to an orchestra consisting of nearly 59 musicians. The Vicente Chamber Orchestra has many concerts to date, each with substantial audience support and recognition.

The Vicente Chamber Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
