Vintage Living Lesson: PRESERVE!

We’re kicking off our vintage living series with some of the easiest and most useful ways to preserve food – dehydrating and freezing. Might seem basic but mastering these two skills will make the entire season of food preservation so much easier. We’ll take the very first veggies of the season and transform them into ingredients you’ll still be using come winter. Urban homesteading expert Diane Lutkze will impart on us the knowledge of all things preservation and Forager Head Chef Erik Paulsen will walk us through some amazing recipes using our preserved bounty.
Each class focuses on a vintage skill taught by an urban homesteading expert and recipes taught by Forager's Head Chef Erik Paulsen. Classes include hands-on learning, cooking demos, recipes, connections to local farmers and artists and a whole lot of fun (and freebies).
