Event Details

On Apr. 4, 2019, Central Community House presents the Village Maker Awards, an event that honors everyday heroes and community members who work to make the world a better place. It is a truly uplifting event that also raises funds that are critically needed in order to continue serving the children, teens, families and seniors with critical aid and developmental programs.

The honored keynote speaker and Community Hero Award Winner is Columbus City Councilmember Priscilla Tyson. We will celebrate her leadership in our community, and especially, her recent work creating The Commission on Black Girls. The Commission works to cultivate conditions where Black girls are thriving and well positioned for successful futures.
