Event description

Description

It's a new program year and it's all about you! AWC Detroit is committed to a curriculum dedicated to your professional growth. Each program will focus on skills that you can use to advance your career and help you succeed.

The first program in this season's series will provide you with important information you will certainly need to enhance your communications skills through the use of video.

Video moves your story and it is now a MUST!

It should not surprise you to learn that next year… just a few short months from now – it is expected that over 80 percent of all content on the internet will be video-based. Through the intelligent use of video, you can powerfully tell your story to media, employees, customers and potential sponsors. With a smart phone and a few skills, you can wow an audience for your client presentation or on-line story.

AWC Detroit has put together an expert panel that can help you make your video message captivating!

Jennette Smith Kotila is senior vice president of Mort Crim Communications, Inc., one of Detroit's leading video communications companies. She's an award winning journalist, editor and multi-channel manager with skills in social media, video, messaging and more.

Bob Giles is editor of NewCarNews.TV, a youtube.com channel with updated information on all things car culture, and former news editor of WXYZ-TV.

Stephanie Davis is reporter/anchor from WWJ NewsRadio's team of reporters well versed in using both microphones and cell phone videos to tell stories on-line.

Join us for this exciting professional skills development opportunity!
