Victory Marriage presents 20 in 23 Date Night Challenge

Victory believes that it is important that couples spend quality time to invest in your marriage. With that, this page is designed to create resources to help provide and encourage couples to date. Ecc. 9:9 says "Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love....

The Date Night Challenge was created to help enrich and build intimacy in your marriage. We are challenging you as a married couple to go on 20 date nights in 2023 with the intention of investing in your relationship.

The purpose of this challenge is for couples to focus on spending time with one another. Our mission is to build strong marriages that glorify God. Let this be the year of building health and strengthening your marriage.

To participate, you will need to:

• Have completed Membership Class
• Regularly attend and participate at Victory Church
• Register to be a part of the challenge
• Join the Private Facebook Group (search Victory 20 in 23 Date Night Challenge)
• Post your pictures in the FB group and use the hashtag #wearevictory
• Attend the February 2024 Date Night Event (details to be announced)

The contest runs from February 12, 2023, through January 31, 2024.

Three winners will be chosen!

• 3rd place: a second honeymoon valued up to $1000.
• 2nd place: a second honeymoon valued up to $1500.
• Grand prize: a second honeymoon valued up to $3000!

20 in 23 Date Night Challenge Official Rules & Regulations

The 20 in 23 Date Night Challenge is open only to married couples who are *active members of Victory Church and the contest runs from February 12th, 2023 through to January 31st, 2024.

*Active: Both spouses must have completed Membership Class and regularly attend and participate at Victory Church. Employees of Victory Church are NOT eligible to win.

Couples must register to Eventbrite 20 in 23 Date Night Challenge to be considered a contest participant prior to joining the Official 20 in 23 Date Night Challenge Facebook Group.

A date night is defined as time together with your spouse where you are intentionally connecting. Family outings do not count towards a date night. If you are on a group date with another couple, each participating couple must post on their own.

Official 20 in 23 Date Night Challenge Facebook Group Rules:

1. Only one photo may be uploaded per date. A collage photo is acceptable as one photo.

2. All posts must include a photo of you and your spouse on the date.

3. All posts must be hashtagged #wearevictory to count towards 20 Dates.

4. All posts must include date the event/outing took place (I.e. - 2/1/23)

5. All posts must include number of date out of 20 (i.e. - Date 1/20)

6. Please do not edit photos after they have been submitted and approved. Any edits needed will be requested by the moderator.

7. Only one post per day per couple is eligible to receive credit for dates. (Please do not submit dates from multiple days or multiple dates on the same day.)

8. Couples who become finalists must be in attendance at the 2024 Date Night Challenge Winner Live Announcement (details to be determined), non-attendance is automatic disqualification.

Parameters of prizes:

Three (3) couples who have completed twenty (20) approved dates in the permitted time period will be selected from a drawing to receive one of three prizes.

Third place prize includes: a second honeymoon valued up to $1000. The couple will receive a gift certificate through a travel agency from the Victory Marriage Team. Second honeymoon plans must be finalized in accordance with the rules & regulations of the travel agency by their expiration date. Otherwise, accommodations will need to meet the $1000 mark or lesser accommodations will need to be made.

Second place prize includes: a second honeymoon valued up to $1500. The couple will receive a gift certificate through a travel agency from the Victory Marriage Team. Second honeymoon plans must be finalized in accordance with the rules & regulations of the travel agency by their expiration date. Otherwise, accommodations will need to meet the $1500 mark or lesser accommodations will need to be made.

Grand prize includes: a second honeymoon valued up to $3000. The couple will receive a gift certificate through a travel agency from the Victory Marriage Team. Second honeymoon plans must be finalized in accordance with the rules & regulations of the travel agency by their expiration date. Otherwise, accommodations will need to meet the $3000 mark or lesser accommodations will need to be made.
