Event description

Description

This October, visit the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site as it’s unexpectedly beset by a host of the most villainous villains from history. Just when the world thought it was rid of Lizzie Borden, Sweeney Todd, H.H. Holmes and Jack the Ripper, a local team of crime scene investigators have discovered a nefarious plot to bring them back to life!

In this frightful performance of Victorian Villains, guests will partner with their crime scene handler to uncover the sordid tales of the villains. Are you ready to face these fiendish creators of chaos and carnage, so that we can learn from their twisted and tormented minds to protect society as we know it…before it’s too late?!

Be sure to make your reservations early for this spine-tingling performance. (Performances will sell out; reservations are strongly suggested).

What to expect:

Audiences will progress from room to room enjoying performances throughout the National Historic Landmark home of President Benjamin Harrison. Audiences will travel up and down two flights of narrow stairs (elevator assistance is available – please indicate if you need elevator access during the registration process so we can best accommodate you). Guests will view shorter vignettes standing and longer scenes seated. The evening’s performance lasts approximately 60-75 minutes.

FAQs

What are my event parking options?

Free public parking is available along Delaware Street.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not need to bring your printed ticket. There will be a check-in table at the front entrance of the Presidential Site with your party's information if you cannot print your ticket.

What is the refund policy?

As these performances help benefit the Presidential Site’s education programs, tickets are generally not refunded. If you can no longer attend or need to change your performance date or time, please call the Special Events Manager at 317-631-1888 and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Is this performance appropriate for children?

Children are welcome to attend. However, as a general rule, we do not recommend this performance for children under the age of ten due to the darkness of the home, the length of the performance, and several graphic descriptions included in the dialogue. Please call the Special Events Manager at 317-631-1888 to discuss further if you have questions.
