All ticket-holders must show their Drake-authorized ID with their ticket in order to be admitted to the event. All attendees will go through airport-like security outside before entering the building. Attendees should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, brief cases, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Small cameras are permitted (no extended lenses). Cell phones are permitted but must be on silent. Drake University Student* Ticketing Information

On Thursday, February 12 from 11:00am-12:00 pm, Vice President Joe Biden will be speaking to the Drake University community in Sheslow Auditorium.

Doors will open for the event at 9:30 am and will close at 10:45 am. Attendees will need to go through airport-like security outside before entering the building.

All tickets are free and you must have a ticket to attend. All ticket-holders must show their Drake-authorized ID with their ticket in order to be admitted to the event.

Ticketing for Drake University students opens at 8:30 pm on Monday, February 9.

  • Only students will be eligible for ticketing for the first 24 hours.

  • Each student may request one ticket.

  • Ticketing will remain open until Wednesday February 11 at 5:00pm.

  • Students MUST request a ticket through this system.

  • At 10:30 am on Thursday, February 12, if seats are available individuals with a Drake-authorized ID may be given a day-of ticket on a first-come-first-served basis.
