Event Details

Join us Thursday, July 27 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm for the third annual Wellness Connection Workshop in collaboration with the Rothko Chapel: " Vicarious Trauma - Healing from Within". This is a special presentation by Dr. Alejandro Chaoul, Associate Professor and Director of Education at the University of Texas MD Anderson's Friends of Integrated Medicine Program as well as a regular presenter at the Rothko Chapel, and David Leslie, Executive Director of the Rothko Chapel. This presentation will introduce participants to techniques, tools and resources—including the healing space of the Rothko Chapel—to create balance within, help you adhere to professional standards or ethical requirements, and minimize or mitigate the effects of vicarious trauma.  The event will take place at the Rothko Chapel, a sacred space that is available for participants to contemplate on their own and offers additional events and programs.

The event is approved for 1 ATA CE points, 0.15 RID CEU’s, 0.15 BEI CEU’s, and 1.50 CCHI Hours.
