$13 (advance), $15 // 21+VIAGRA BOYSPOTTERYGANSER----------------VIAGRA BOYS is a Swedish punk band from Stockholm. Formed in 2015, the 6 man band started exploring their very own lane in what would become to be called ugly gonzo post punk genre. With a wide range of influences such as Screaming Jay Hawkins, Butthole Surfers, Suicide, Dead Kennedys they’ve created a melting pot that we know as VIAGRA BOYS. The name may make you think of failing sexual abilities, and that’s kind of what it’s about. The name was chosen as a pun to mans’ failed role in society.Last year, GANSER’s This Feels Like Living saw the band exploring new edges of their post-punk roots. Keeping their ambivert energy, they began investigating more angular territory and riotously released their debut album, Odd Talk (No Trend Records), with us in April of 2018. Occasionally leaving earlier synth elements behind completely, with no wave touches joining their original influences like Sad Lovers and Giants, Gary Numan, and others, the four piece noise behemoth has been tumbling onward gaining impressive features in Pitchfork, Spin, AV Club, Billboard, Post-Punk and countless other publications. Always a got dam pleasure, we're elated to welcome back GANSER.
