This training will be at 1250 Connecticut Ave NW, Suite 200.
This training will cover both the VI-SPDAT for single adult individuals (18th and older) and the TAY VI-SPDAT for single youth individuals (up to age 25) individuals (not families) as part of the Coordinated Entry system.
Prior to training:
Staff should have viewed the 20 minute webinar at http://vimeo.com/126548635
This will serve as an introduction to the tools, so that the HMIS training can be specific to properly recording VI-SPDAT results within the HMIS.
The training location is downtown, and parking is difficult. Attendees are encouraged to take Metro. This new location is a 5-10 minute walk from both the Farragut North and Dupont Circle metro stations. If you choose to drive, please allow for enough time to find parking. Again, all sessions will begin on time.
The day of training:
All sessions will begin on time; please do not take the seat from individuals forced to be on a wait list by choosing to not arrive on time, as you will not be admitted to the session if you arrive late. The doors will be locked 5 minutes from the posted start date of the session and all late arrivals will have to attend a later session (if available). Please encourage all registered attendees to bring the email confirmation to the training session in order to check-in.
Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you and your staff as VI-SPDAT assessors later this month!
