About this Event

Our mission is to connect you with the contact person for services you are entitled to. Join us for the 2nd Annual VeteransBizUp Conference held on July 24, 2020 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Holiday Inn hotel located on 10000 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, Maryland 20740.

What is it about?

The VeteransBizUp conference is all about those who served their country and who are looking for (or need) "the right" information and resources to help them with personal journey. This includes help for Veteran-Owned Businesses who are looking for business opportunities as well as empowerment and comfort options for military and veteran families during tough times. Our theme focuses on Career Transition, Health & Wellness, and Entrepreneurship opportunities.

Our conference is filled with Dynamic, certified speakers who will engage and enlighten you with resourceful information and supporting organizations will be providing you with related service information. At the conference, you'll enjoy the following activities:

  • Networking with other attendees who are military, veterans, and organizations
  • Learning strategy tactics for Career Transition or Career Readiness
  • Business Pitching Workshop for Veteran-Owned Businesses
  • Small Business Assistance and Leadership Strategies
  • How to deal with Stress or coping after a loss
  • How to build a Healthy Mindset and Empowerment for Personal Development
  • Panel discussion - Sales/Marketing, Finance, Business Development, and Education
  • Breakfast/Lunch Networking sessions with Presenters and Sponsors
  • The option to attend a VIP reception dinner after the event

How Much Does It Cost?

This conference is hosted by Destination Achievers, Incorporated (DA), a Maryland 501c3 nonprofit organization and is supported by local sponsors that support our cause. However, we are asking at attendees to purchase a $20.00 ticket when registering for the event as these funds will be donated and used towards DA's Workforce Development Veterans Outreach Program an and other program areas. For an additional $75.00, you can join us for an exclusive VIP Reception dinner where you can mix and mingle with speaker organizations, speakers, and exhibitors. Your investment will help another military/veteran servants in need of our services.
