Description

A VALUES-BASED APPROACH TO THE LIFE-LONG TRANSITION FROM MILITARY SERVICE

VETERANS ENGAGE is a highly interactive personal and professional development program that will provide participants with practical and experiential training designed to develop strategies and skills for engaging with the people they need to be successful throughout their life-long transition from military service.

Participants will be challenged to build on the unique relationship-building, communication, and leadership strengths they developed during their time in service and effectively translate them into different the different contexts they will operate in outside of the military culture (personal, professional, community).

The program consists of 4 two-hour progressive sessions (each builds on the previous) with minimal outside work (pre-program assessment and reading, and small commitments between sessions).

  • Session 1- Foundations of High-Performance Relationships (10/12/17, 4:00 - 6:00 pm)*

  • Session 2- Communicating Things That Matter (10/19/17, 4:00 - 6:00 pm)

  • Session 3- Commiting to Things That Matter (10/26/17, 4:00 - 6:00 pm)

  • Session 4- Making Progress with Purpose and Meaning (11/02/17, 4:00 - 6:00 PM)

*Brotherhood Trust & Love will hold its October meeting following Session 1, beginning at 6:30. All Veterans Engage Participants are welcome to attend.

This free program is open to all Military Connected People (service members, veterans, family members) who have a strong desire to not just survive but want to succeed and thrive in our greater-American culture.
