Featuring Jake Durkin

Jake Durkin is a Nashville-based singer-Songwriter from Boston, MA. He
started writing songs at the age of 6 when he started learning piano. Over
the following 19 years, Jake taught himself guitar, drums, bass, and
trumpet. Jake relocates to Nashville in 2016 (at the age of 22) to be
around the best songwriters in the world and, since then, has written over
1,500 songs. Recently Jake has been working with Operation Song. Writing
songs with children whose fathers lost their lives in Afghanistan and
Iraq.
Durkin, now 25, works as a writer, performer, and producer in a wide
variety of genres. He has toured and performed in 40 of the 50 states as
well as Shanghai, China, where he won the International Arts Festival for
his performance of his song “If You Need Me.” He was also featured in
season 2 of the American Idol reboot.
His music could best be described as a fusion between John Mayer, the
Lumineers, and Leon Bridges. Pop-folk with soul. Durkin has opened for the
following acts: AER, B.O.B., T-Pain, and Little Big Town. You can find
Jake performing with his band in Nashville at places like: Margaritaville,
The Sutler, Alley Taps, Tin Roof, Frisky Frogs, the Basement, The Local,
and the Listening Room.


Featuring Hunter Girl

Hunter Girl is a twenty year old country singer-songwriter from Winchester, Tennessee. She has
been performing since the age of three at her grandfather’s church and started writing her own music at
the age of nine. She has performed at music venues all over the southeast including Tennessee,
Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida. Hunter attends Middle Tennessee State University where she
is studying Recording Industry Management and Music Business. She currently works in downtown
Nashville on Broadway as a performer for Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Rippy’s Bar and Grill, and Honky
Tonk Central. She was the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown Winner for the state of Tennessee at the
young age of sixteen, and she also won the 2016 and 2017 NSAI Songwriter Contest where she opened
up for artists such as: Old Dominion, Alan Jackson, Florida Georgia Line, and Kane Brown at the Country
Stampede in Manhattan, Kansas.
Hunter also won the 2017 Nash Next Competition for 107.9 Nash Icon radio station in
Chattanooga, Tennessee. This event highlighted upcoming country music artists and their own original
music. She also works with Operation Song, a non-profit organization where professional songwriters and
musicians work with veterans, active military and their families to help them tell their stories through song.
With her strong work ethic and passion for music, Hunter hopes to one day reach her dream of
performing on stage at the Grand Ole Opry and being recognized as one of Nashville’s finest country
music singers and songwriters.
