Event description

Description

Join us for the first annual Veterans in Tech Summit where Seattle’s top technology, corporate, education, and civic leaders will showcase the innovation and opportunities available with the region’s military presence. The Seattle area is home to the nation’s fourth largest joint army and air base, the third largest navy presence, and the military has more than a $12 billion dollar impact on the Washington state economy. Seattle’s unique position as a focal point for both burgeoning technological innovation and a strong military presence has created some amazing opportunities for collaboration that this event intends to explore.

Hosted by the first code school in the state to accept the GI Bill, the Summit will provide an overview of the talent pipeline and innovation efforts, as well as the opportunity to network with key community and veteran leaders across the tech, military, and civic sectors. Help us engage in this discussion alongside a community of tech industry leaders and veterans who have or are seeking to transition into tech at this inaugural event!

*Hosted by Code Fellows in collaboration with Bunker Labs, Operation Code & FourBlock
