Event description
This movement workshop is designed to bring the healing power of dance, music, and community for the Veterans and Military Families.

About this event

Monday, October 26, 2020 at 4:00-5:00 PM

Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, the School of the Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno and David J. Drakulich Art Foundation present this movement workshop, designed to bring the healing power of dance, music, and community to our veterans and their families. Families and children of all ages are encouraged to attend. No dance experience required.

Offered in a safe and low-pressure environment that remains flexible based on individual needs, this class is free of judgment and serves to uplift, inspire, and enlighten. Facilitated by the Company’s Artistic Director, participants will have the opportunity to move alongside the supportive Company dancers in a creative movement exploration rooted in contemporary dance.

Registrants will be emailed the link for the virtual workshop the week before the event and again the day of the event.

Questions: Contact the School of the Arts at 775-784-4278 or pas@unr.edu.
