Vervet Monkey Foundation Official Re-union & 20th Anniversary

This event is open to all and especially welcomes previous and future volunteers to get together as well as anyone interested in the work of the Foundation, primates, wildlife or compassionate and ethical living. The Foundation also celebrates it's 20th year since being established in 1993.
Schedule subject to minor changes:
12 midday – Welcome, burgers and goody bags on arrival, raffle tickets
1pm – Vervet Monkey Foundation updates - Dave (Director & Founder) & Josie Du Toit (Animal Manager / Rehabilitator)
VMF UK events - Sarah Jane Smith (VMF UK Events Co-ordinator)
VMF Release site campaign- Alasdair Davies
3pm – Break & raffle tickets
3.30pm – Art Auction
4pm – Guest speaker – Juliet Gellatley (Founder & Director, Viva!)

Talk: 'Wild Thing'
How the fate of farmed and wild animals are intertwined and why our diet is essential to saving the world’s threatened wildlife.
Talk: 'Why you don't need Dairy, including take the health challenge'
5.30pm – Questions and answers
6.30pm – Vegan buffet dinner
7.30pm until late – Evening entertainment, raffle prizes drawn, live music from Swedish artist Emma Larsen, DJ and dancing begins.
2am - closed.
Please note if you have volunteered at the VMF previously and arrive at 12 midday, payment of £5 will be refunded. Anyone arriivng after 12.30pm or who has not volunteered at VMF will not be entitled to a refund and it will be used as a donation to the Vervet Monkey Foundation.
The venue has kindly been sponsored by The Inn on the Lake. There are places to stay nearby and you can contact Premier Inn Gravesend Central or A2 Singlewell for availability, book well in advance as rooms are filling up fast.

All food is 100% plant-based, please do not bring any items containing animal products to the event (meat, fish, dairy, eggs, gelatine etc)
