About this Event

Qussay Al-Attabi is an Assistant Professor of Arabic at Kenyon College. He is a scholar of modern Arabic literature whose research spans the nineteenth and twentieth centuries in the Arab Middle East, focusing on the intersection of politics and literary and cultural production. Currently, he is a Visiting Scholar at Brown University, where he is translating a volume of colloquial Iraqi poetry into English.
