Registration Temporarily Closed

As we continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 Pandemic we have made the decision to temporarily close registration for this event until public health policies regarding large scale gatherings become clear again.

If it is ultimately determined with state and local officials that we are unable to host the event, all registrants will be automatically deferred to next year’s event. We are unable to process any refunds.

Event Overview

This running race in Stowe, Vermont features 10 gorgeous road and bike path-miles through some of the Green Mountain State’s most stunning scenery.

A portion of each registration fee will be donated directly to the Stowe Land Trust, preserving Stowe’s most beautiful open spaces and promoting conservationism.

After the race, come join us in the finish area to celebrate your accomplishment! All 21+ finishers will receive a delicious craft beer from our friends at von Trapp Brewery — with the first one on us! Athlete food will be available, including fruit, bagels and granola bars. Family and friends are welcome in the beer garden, too!

The 2020 New England 10 Miler Series

Earn extra bling (and bragging rights) by joining us for the New England 10 Miler Series! Runners who complete all three races will receive an exclusive New England 10 Miler Series Medal and swag, as well as recognition upon completion. The 2020 series consists of three events; The Portland 10 Miler, The BankNewport 10 Miler, and the Vermont 10 Miler.

Race Policies

COVID-19 REFUND POLICY -
We are unable to process any refunds in these devastating and unpredictable times due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic.

If it is determined by state and local officials that we are unable to host the event as planned, all registrants will be automatically deferred to next year’s event.



REGISTRATION TRANSFERS - ONE WEEK
Absolutely no requests after: October 25, 2020
A request must be sent no later than one week prior to the event by the runner who purchased the registration with the name, address, email, gender and date of birth of the runner taking their place to info@graymattermarketing.com. A registration transfer processing fee of $25 will be incurred.

DEFERRALS - ONE WEEK
Absolutely no requests after: October 25, 2020
A deferred registration is $40. Those who request to defer to the following year will be provided with a registration link and instructed to register their deferral as soon as possible through Eventbrite.com. Upon receiving a confirmation email after registering the deferral, they will be registered for the coming year’s event and it will require no further action. Contact us at info@graymattermarketing.com to request a deferral.

EXTREME WEATHER POLICY

Our events are held rain or shine. However, there is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. Race organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or the forecast calls for extreme weather, race officials reserve the right to alter or cancel the race. We do not schedule "rain dates". Any decision to cancel an event is done as an absolute last resort and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate. In such situations, there will be NO REFUNDS as registrants accept any such risk of their entry free when signing up.
