Caroline Broder, Principal, Crosslink Capital
Caroline Broder is a Principal at Crosslink Capital, a Bay Area-based early stage venture fund leading Seed and Series A investments. Caroline joined Crosslink in 2018 and focuses on venture investments in enterprise software, financial technology, and logistics. Prior to Crosslink, Caroline worked in analytics at Lyft, supporting operational and strategic initiatives for the company’s fleet strategy. She previously worked in management consulting at The Parthenon Group and Parthenon-EY, focusing on private equity and corporate clients in the technology and diversified industrial sectors. She has a BA from Amherst College. Caroline lives in San Francisco, which provides easy access to all of the moderately risky activities she enjoys, including biking, skiing, and backpacking, or sometimes a creative combination of the three. She works most closely with Crosslink portfolio companies operating in FinTech or Data, including Axle, Forma.ai, Gridwise, Koxa, Syncari, and Yardstik.
Simon Wu, Partner, Cathay Innovation
Simon Wu is a Partner with Cathay Innovation, a global venture capital firm investing across North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Based in San Francisco, he focuses on software, fintech, digital health and consumer investments. Cathay Innovation has invested in over 120 startups across the world (19 unicorns), including fintechs such as Chime Bank, Peek Travel, ZenBusiness, Sidecar Health, Descartes Underwriting, Alma, Finaccel, and many more. Prior to joining Cathay Innovation, Simon spent four years at VMware on the Strategy & Corporate Development team which was responsible for leading acquisitions, investments, and strategy. Before joining VMware, he spent time at UBS in the investment banking division as part of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications group. Simon holds both a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business and a B.A. in Operations Research and Management Science from the University of California Berkeley.
Jillian Cohn, Partner, Mouro Capital
Jillian Cohn is a partner at Mouro Capital where she invests in early and growth-stage fintechs across the US and Latin America. Her portfolio includes companies like Upgrade, Nowports, Vesttoo, Skyflow, and Decent. Prior to joining Mouro, she worked as an impact investor at Goldman Sachs and at the International Finance Corporation, the private investment arm of The World Bank. She started her career in investment banking at a boutique M&A advisory firm. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA and BS from University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School.
Vivek Krishnamurthy, Investor, Commerce Ventures
Vivek Krishnamurthy is an investor at Commerce Ventures where he focuses on early stage opportunities in enterprise software and infrastructure for financial services. The fund's portfolio includes companies like Bill.com, Marqeta, Snapsheet, Socure, Forter, MX and ~60 others. Prior to joining Commerce Ventures, Vivek was a member of the investment banking team at Financial Technology Partners where he worked on a number of M&A and private placement transactions for growth and late stage companies in the broader fintech ecosystem (e.g. GreenSky, Yapstone, Prosper, Enservio).
