Venice: Eco Tour

LA Commons will host the second annual Found LA: Festival of Neighborhoods. This year’s theme “Discovering the Secret Heart of Los Angeles” invites participants to move beyond historic sites and surface structures to showcase the significance that lies rooted in storefronts, shops, and gathering places in their communities. Supporting local community leaders in sharing what ties them to their neighborhoods.

Sa'angna , meaning "place in the sun" is the name that the Gabrieleno/ Tongva people called this area from Marina Del Ray to Santa Monica. Discover the local indigenous people, plants and animals from an expert! Learn about their fascinating culture, traditional basket making and knowledge of medicinal medicine through this Eco tour of Venice.
