Thank you for your interest in the JBF ALL SEASON Sale, Oct 27 - 30, 2016 . Vendor spots are available on a first paid, first served basis. Vendors will need to provide their own 6 ft table and chairs (can rent from us for $15). You will need to provide your own equipment, extension cords, tablecloths or display items necessary for the duration of the sale.
The more people you tell about this event, the more shoppers we have and the more potential customers for you. I am happy to provide you with 10 free admission passes for family, friends and co-workers. Would you like to earn more money? Consign your gently used children/maternity items at the sale. Earn 60% on everything you sell AND if you volunteer earn a whopping 65-70%! Just ask me how!

Terms & Conditions: JBF Charlotte, Fall/Winter Sales Event
Payment: Your spot will not be held without payment. Included with your booth is your logo and contact information on newsletters to our entire database as well as mentions on our Facebook page, and 1 print material in each shopping bag that goes out the door. You will need to supply the print material (200 - 300 is recommended).
Reservations: We cannot reserve locations for your booth. These will be pre-assigned on a first come (paid), first served basis. Floor plan is determined by JBF Charlotte. Everyone will have great shopper access and we will only allow one of each company vendor per day, so there may be an Avon and a Mary Kay rep, but there will only be one representing each company. However; if a Pampered Chef (PC) rep books for 2 days, a different PC rep can book for the other day. There will not be two vendors from the same company on any given day.
Set up & Break down:
- Thursday 27 Oct: Set up 10 am - 2 pm & Consignor drop off 4 pm - 8 pm
- Friday, 28 Oct: Presale & Public shopping 9 am - 7 pm
- Saturday, 29 Oct: Public shopping 9 am - 7 pm
- Sunday 30 Oct: 1/2 price day 9 am - 2 pm & Breakdown 3 pm - 8 pm
*You will run your own schedule. You can man your booth as much or as little as you wish. Whenever you are not at your booth, please leave materials for customers (business cards, catalogs, sign in sheet for deals/newsletters, etc.)
Shopping: If you are consigning or volunteering with JBF during the sale, you are welcome to shop in your designated/earned pre-sale time slot. Otherwise, you can shop during the 10:30 presale time slot. You will still get to shop before the public.
Respect our shoppers: You are welcome to sell items from your booth. The items must be truly represented and properly delivered to our mutual customers. Your business practices reflect on our business and we ask you to conduct your business with transparency. Bait and switch tactics are not acceptable at our sale. Example #1: Selling a $50 gift certificate that has a “catch” such as it does not have value until the customer spends $100.
Please don’t be overly aggressive with our shoppers. If they state disinterest, please honor their decision and move on to your next potential customer. No hassling, chasing or harassing of customers will be permitted. Disrespectful behavior toward our shopping families will be cause for immediate removal from the facility (vendor fee will not be returned).
Remain within your rented space: Vendors are not to market outside of their rented/assigned booth or beyond a range of 4 feet in front of their booths. We do not allow roaming vendors or solicitation by vendors outside of their booths.
Product Samples: You are welcome to allow customers to sample items from your booth or to hand out free products from your booth. We strongly recommend you plainly display signage in front of any edible samples containing common allergens such as eggs, dairy or peanuts and obtain any necessary permits if distributing edible samples.
Children & animals: Please, no children or animals at any time during the sale in your booth. Exceptions are made for service animals. Additionally, if you have a special situation needing accommodation, such as a child with special needs or a nursing infant, please see the event coordinator. We are happy to accommodate you in any way possible.
Food: You are welcome to eat and drink your own items in your booth. Food purchased by JBF Charlotte is reserved for staff and volunteers.
Security: You are solely responsible for the manning and operation of your booth and all items in your booth. Security is provided during the sale for JBF consigned merchandise only. JBF is not responsible for the safety of the sponsors or vendors against theft, fire, robbery, accident, or for any other destructive cause or for any injury that may arise to the public in their booth, or to the sponsors or vendors or to their employees while at the sale or en route to the sale. JBF Charlotte, LLC is responsible for all JBF consignors merchandise, therefore all items need to be purchased every evening before closing and taken off premises or held in our hold area. Vendors are never to remove tags from items until the item has been purchased. Vendors are not to keep non-purchased JBF merchandise in their booths at any time. JBF Charlotte reserves the right to inspect vendor areas each evening.
Insurance: JBF Charlotte has its own insurance but does not provide insurance for sponsor or vendor participants.
Rights of JBF Charlotte in the event the sale is not held: JBF Charlotte will not be held liable for any damage or expense incurred by sponsors & vendors in the event the sale is delayed, interrupted, canceled or not held as scheduled for any reason beyond the control of JBF Charlotte.
I agree to the above Terms & Conditions for the JBF Charlotte 2016 Spring/Summer Sales Event. I understand and agree that Pamala Catron dba Just Between Friends - Charlotte is not responsible for fire, loss, theft or damage to my personal, business or display items. I agree to hold harmless JBF, its owners, participants, volunteers and sponsoring organizations from any and all liabilities and damages to and from my product. I understand JBF may choose which vendors they allow to participate and I may be denied the ability to participate based upon the nature of my business. I agree to hold harmless JBF, its owners, its participants, volunteers and sponsoring organizations for any personal injury resulting from participation in the JBF consignment sale from whatever cause either seen or unseen. I agree that JBF, its owners, participants, volunteers and sponsoring organizations are not responsible for my success or sales at the JBF Sales Event. I will make reasonable accommodation to allow accessibility to disabled/handicapped individuals desiring to shop at my booth. I am solely responsible for setting up and breaking down my booth and agree to all above terms and conditions.
