What better way to spend a summer day than on your bike?!
Stowe Trails Partnership, Tälta Lodge, and Hitchhiker Bike Shop are thrilled to bring you Stowe’s newest event, Velo-Stowe, to help you do just that.
Join us on Saturday, July 29 for a self-guided 34.7-mile, 3,100 feet of elevation ride around Stowe’s dirt roads. Ride with your friends, your family, or enjoy a solo adventure to experience all the scenery Stowe has to offer.
After your ride, meet back up with us at Tälta Lodge for some well-deserved food, beverages, live music, and more fun. This ride is approachable for most and we’re excited to create an atmosphere where everyone is welcome, keeping the focus on fun.
When: Saturday, July 29th, 2023.
- 9:00am: Registration opens.
- 10:00:am: The rides depart from Tälta
- 2:00pm: Music starts
Where: Rides will begin from and end at Tälta Lodge, located at 3343 Mountain Road, Stowe VT.
The Route: A self-guided 34.7-mile ride with just under 3,100 feet of elevation around the scenic and quiet dirt roads around Stowe.

The proceeds of this event will go to Stowe Trails Partnership to help support their efforts to maintain and enhance the trails in Stowe and continue to advance outdoor recreation opportunities. Your registration cost includes a meal and drink ticket as well as a small swag bag.

The Stowe Trails Partnership manage and maintain approximately 35 miles of purpose built mountain bike trails in Stowe Vermont. We are purveyors of fun, community and stoke.
