Join Green's next vegan cooking class is "Round Foods & Desserts" in honor of Rosh Hashanah when the Jewish New Year is celebrated with fruits, such as apples and pomegranates.
The event will be with Executive Chef Mike Behrend on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 7 p.m., Jewish Community Center, 12500 Northwest Military Highway, Holzman Auditorium.

Printed ingredient list and recipes will be provided and attendees will delight in a 5-course meal. Space is limited and reservations are a must, $25 per person. The J needs to commit to Green in advance, so sorry, no refunds.
