Description

What to put on your seder plate to replace animals products?

  • You’ll learn substitutes for the roasted shank bone, hard boiled egg,

  • You’ll get a recipe for the gefilte fish replacement “No Guilta Fish” (with samples to taste)

Main dish options discussion: using quinoa and nuts for boosted protein We’ll demonstrate two colorful, easy-to-prepare main dishes

  • Stuffed tomatoes

  • Quinoa Paella (which you can customize to your favorite veggies)

  • Tips on egg replacement for kugels Printed recipes to take home!

Please mark on the enrollment whether you are:

  1. Strictly kosher home/strictly kosher for Passover

  2. Ashkenazi style kashrut for Passover (do not use legumes)

  3. Accept Masorti rulings about vegan Passover (use legumes)

  4. Sephardic style kashrut for Passover (use legumes)

Anya McCann is the founder of COOL Cuisine (which advocates for more plant-based options in local restaurants). She has been vegan for 15 years, had the Vegan Family Dinner blog for several years, ran the Cool Davis Festival cooking demonstrations for two years, and has taught vegan cooking and nutrition classes to community in Los Angeles and New York.
