Hey, it's Veganuary again! Join us for an introduction to the basics of making crazy good VEGAN ice cream from home using all natural, plant based ingredients. You'll work with the founder of award winning ice cream company Blu Top in a hands-on workshop. You’ll be provided with two classic recipes which illustrate different methods of vegan ice cream production. We’ll work through the recipes as groups with a tasting session at the end. We'll be eating all the ice cream we make in the class there and then!

The class will be broken down as follows:

• An introduction to the hows and whys of vegan ice cream. We’ll talk about what makes ice cream so good and why vegan ice cream should NEVER mean sacrificing flavour.

• Safe ice cream – some bits you should be aware of before you get started.

• Good ingredients – we’ll talk through the role of each ingredient and how to select top quality ingredients.

• Good Equipment – advice on everything from pots, thermometers and, of course, ice cream machines!

• Recipe One – Coconut Caramel

• Recipe Two – Cold Brew Coffee (as pictured above!)

• Taste test!
