Nationally celebrated vegan guru Chef Tal Ronnen will head up the judging panel on Sunday, October 8th as five teams of multi-talented chefs compete in the 5th Annual Vegan Chili Cook Off at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA. Joining Chef Ronnen at the judging table is Ryan Ritchie, digital editor of the vegan lifestyle magazine VegNews, and Chef Caroline Concha 2015 Cook Off winner and two-time winner of "Best Chef in Burbank".

Bringing the heat in this year's competition, hosted by Chef Crispy of Tony's Darts Away, are plant-based chefs from across Los Angeles.

* Chef Luke Davin of Sixth St Tavern
* Chef Rachel Carr of PlantCraft
* Chefs Trevor Faris and Josh Pressman of Artisanal Brewers Collective

Admission to the event is $10 and includes five 3oz tastes of chili plus a ballot to a vote for the People's Choice winner. Chili available while supplies last. A portion of proceeds will benefit Beagle Freedom Project. The chefs will have their mouthwatering chili underway when attendees arrive at 12 p.m. Winner of the Judge's Choice will be announced at 1 p.m. and the People's Choice award will be announced at the closing ceremony, at 4:00 p.m.
