10:00-11:00 What’s New in Vectorworks Spotlight and Vision 2020 – Jim Woodward, entertainment industry specialist at Vectorworks, Inc.

With the latest release of Spotlight and Vision, you can design, document, analyze, and pre-visualize your project in a seamless workflow that enables you to outpace the competition and impress your clients. Discover General Device Type Format (GDTF), and My Virtual Rig (MVR), the new data exchange method that will allow you to easily previsualize and communicate directly with your Vectorworks design to your console or onPC Visualizers.

11:30-12:30 Vectorworks in Team is More Than Just a Drawing Tool – Peter Pihlblad, Project Manager at Mediatec

Description of a real project designed by five people in five different locations in the country, all in the same project sharing file. Examples of using Vectorworks as a multi-level design tool. Peter will also show how to use Vectorworks as a tool that is more than just a drawing through workflows in the project with cable lists, Weight calculations, Patch lists, Equipment lists etc.

13:30-14:30 Vectorworks Spotlight is Our Base to VR and AR at Dramaten – Emma Weil, Head of Development at DRAMATEN and Team

DRAMATEN is currently working on a new workflow to make the production process more efficient and help communication between artistic teams, workshops and the technical department. 3d- drawings helps reduce bottle necks and with Vectorworks AR we can see the set on stage - without clearing the stage – and improve the set design before the workshops have finalized their work. Our Vectorworks drawings are also the base when we work with the set in Unity.

15:30-16:30 Entertainment Rigging with Braceworks Jim Woodward, Vectorworks, Inc., one of the creators of the Braceworks™ add-on module for Vectorworks Spotlight software.

This intensive, hands-on seminar provides a solid introduction to general truss and entertainment rigging concepts with Braceworks.
