Event description

Description

Newcastle City Council are consulting on their future Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) infrastructure support contract.

VCS infrastructure support is currently provided in three areas:

  • Supporting the sector’s core business operations: for example by offering human resources, finance, or constitutional advice

  • Shaping the sector: supporting organisations on trading, new models of funding, service redesign and collaboration

  • Influencing the sector: for example by building and maintaining peer support networks, informing decision making processes in the Council and partner organisations, and spreading strategic messages

The Council want to get your views on what infrastructure support is most important to you and your organisation, and how the future contract should look.

Sessions will be an informal workshop format and people from all types of VCS organisations are welcome to attend. You can book a place below.

If you are unable to attend, you can still find out more or send your views to us by emailing laura.choake@newcastle.gov.uk
