AAIA Youth will hold an online event entitled "VC Talk: How do Investors Evaluate and Add Value to Startup Companies " on April 27th! We will invite the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Amino Capital from Silicon Valley, Larry Li, as our guest speaker! Larry will share his insights on how do investors value startups, how do they judge the certainty and continuity of value, and how do they add value to startup companies beside investments.

Some of Larry's investments include early investment in now 12 unicorns, such as Chime Bank, Webflow, Weee!, Dfinity, etc. Larry is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build disruptive products in data, security, AI, fintech, Blockchain, etc. In 2010 Larry and a few TEEC members initiated a fund that invested ZOOM in 2011.

Larry completed his B.E. degree from Tsinghua University, attended Tsinghua Graduate School of Economics and Management in 1987, and completed his M.E. degree at the University of Florida. As a successful investor, Larry also actively gives back to society by contributing to many nonprofit communities. He is a founding contributor of Tsinghua 100 Education Fund, founding Chairman of TEEC AI committee. Larry is a frequent speaker at international investment conferences and a mentor for many incubator programs, such as StartX at Stanford University. Larry was appointed as the Visiting Professor for Zhejiang University Business School in 2017. Most recently in 2021, he is named in Forbes Top 20 Chinese American Business Leaders.
