VC Andrew Yang + DJ Natasha Diggs: Leaders in Venture Capital & Music
Andrew Yang is the Founder and CEO of Venture for America, a fellowship program that places top college graduates in start-ups for 2 years in low-cost U.S. cities to generate job growth and train the next generation of entrepreneurs. Andrew has worked in start-ups and early stage growth companies as a founder or executive for more than twelve years. He was the CEO and President of Manhattan GMAT, a test preparation company that was acquired by the Washington Post/Kaplan in 2009. He has also served as the co-founder of an Internet company and an executive at a health care software start-up. He has appeared on CNBC, Morning Joe, Fox News, TIME, Techcrunch, the Wall St. Journal, and many other media outlets. Andrew was named a Champion of Change by the White House for his work with Venture for America and one of Fast Company’s “100 Most Creative People in Business.” He is a graduate of Columbia Law and Brown University. Whether playing all vinyl or not, Natasha has been recognized for her eclectic taste and diverse musical knowledge and on any given night her sets might dip into soul, funk, disco, rock, hip hop, house, world music and beyond
More recently legendary hip hop MC/producer Q-Tip called on Miss Diggs to dj with him at his NYC party, the Giant Step produced #OFFLINE, where Natasha can be heard playing on one of the best sound systems in the city at the world class club Output in Brooklyn.
Natasha has played alongside or opened for artists such as Erykah Badu, Grandmaster Flash, Rakim, Dam Funk, The Pharcyde, Kenny Dope, Large Professor, Mark Ronson, Omar, DJ Spinna, Cut Chemist, Spinderella, DJ Scratch, Prince Paul, Just Blaze, DJ Muro, and many more.
Natasha has also cofounded the all girls jam "Us Girls" which showcases female DJs and artists while creating a network amongst NYC's rising female talent.

Inspire Action Project
Inspire Action Project is a multimedia effort documenting Students and Artists in Social Justice. The mission is to assemble voices from the university, music, entertainment, and sports communities to shape the foundation of a web platform that inspires action. It will support student and artist collaboration in social action campaigns. Students will gain access to strong advocates while artists build a closer nexus with inspired young leaders in social action.
