At this pitch night, we will be having 5 people pitching their innovative ideas that they have for Valparaiso's future in a competition for a prize of an in-kind donation for first and second place. These people are expected to spearhead their idea if they are to win this competition. During the event, the audience will vote for their favorite idea; the second place winner receiving $500 and the first place winner receiving $1,000.

We will be having a small panel of judges choose who from the submissions will move on to the Pitch Night. This panel of judges will be given a chosen group of submissions that are deemed appropriate to narrow down the submissions to the final five contestants that will come to the main event.
