Festival Tips / What To Expect

  • Plan ahead for transportation – It is important to have a plan for how to get safely home from the fest. Please arrange a designated driver, take a taxi, Uber, Lyft or take public transportation if possible.
  • Wear sunscreen – We try our best to keep lines short, but they’re inevitable. At an outdoor fest, you know you’ll be standing in the sun at least a bit, so it’s important to protect your exposed skin with sunscreen. It’s also a good idea to bring a hat and/or sunglasses.
  • Stay hydrated – Yes, wine is refreshing, but you need to make sure you’re getting enough water too. If drinking water isn’t available, it can be purchased from the food vendors. Have a game plan for hydration.
  • Bring cash for food and souvenirs – It’s always faster and easier on our vendors if you bring cash!
  • Have an idea of which wineries you want to hit first - Wineries bring a set amount of wine, so some varietals may run out and not be available for the entirety of the festival. Plan ahead by making a mental list of the wine you don’t want to miss to ensure you get to taste them!
  • Don’t drink on an empty stomach – A snack plate is included in the ticket price. Food is also available for purchase at the fest. We encourage you to go out to lunch before the fest at one of our many delicious downtown restaurants.
