After two years of COVID disruptions to their schedule and long-running lineup, members of The Sons & Heirs have regrouped as The Smiths Tribute NYC. The band is thrilled to return to play one of New York’s favorite Valentine's Day traditions, Valentine's Day with The Smiths at The Bell House in Brooklyn.
For nearly 14 years, The Sons & Heirs built their following through sold-out shows from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles, with press acclaim from the New York Post, New Yorker magazine, and Rolling Stone’s Rob Sheffield.
The band was also known for sharing the stage with special guests including Morrissey’s long-time drummer Spencer Cobrin, Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices), and even The Smiths’ bassist Andy Rourke, who told a reporter “these guys love the band, and they’re really passionate about it."
Special guest: Dave Hill
Dave Hill is a comedian, writer, musician, actor, radio host, and man-about-town originally from Cleveland, Ohio but now living in New York City in a totally sweet apartment with a party deck and everything. Hot chicks come over to hang out and eat cheese plates and stuff with him all the time and it’s awesome.
