Event Details

Join us for the second instalment of this wildly popular Maker couples’ event!  We’ll wine & dine you and your date and then leisurely partake of several hands-on project stations you can do with your sweetie.  Walk away with your keepsakes and an incredible memory!

Space is limited, and this event sold-out last year, so register early!

Registration includes tickets for two, beverages (must be 21+ to partake of wine), dinner provided by our very own Devon Palmer, and all materials and instruction.

Activities include:

Take a vintage-chic tin type portrait with photography instructor Stephen Takacs.

Make a glass mosaic with glass instructor Linda Perry.

Forge wrought-iron hearts with our blacksmith, Adlai Stein.

Let Gary teach you about the custom mould-making process and cast some delicious tempered chocolate.

Create a fine art mixed media piece with award-winning fine artist Kate Morgan.

$175 (for two) for non-members

$145 (for two) for Columbus Idea Foundry member and guest.

Columbus Idea Foundry

The Columbus Idea Foundry is Central Ohio’s premier community workshop, maker space, and learning center.  We offer training on and access to conventional and high tech tools (wood shop, metal smithing and foundry, laser cutter & engraver, CNC ShopBot, electronics, jewelry, warm glass, and more). We are home to 30 in-house artists, artisans and small businesses, have a rich network of more than 170 members, teach classes, host special events and more.
